Water Way 18, Sea Scout Moorage
The Spirit of Propeller, Inc. has taken over the ownership and management of our facility at Water Way 18, commonly called the "Sea Scout Moorings".
Part of the latest Washington State Dept. of Natural Resources and Federal EPA requirements included the replacement of the 85 year old, wooden deck, cedar log float and creosote piling structure with a Federal EPA and Washington State DNR approved and environmentally friendly new fiberglass grid deck, encapsulated plastic floatation and steel piling structure.
With help from the maritime community, we completed the construction of the $500,000 Replacement Dock project October 2025
We asked for your support and contributions, helping the Sea Scouts of the Greater Seattle Area with a renewed facility.
And you made it possible.
Yet to be accomplished and funded is the replacement of the shore side potable water system.
Your help in meeting our fundraising goal was, and is, greatly appreciated, either by a direct contribution or providing assistance and guidance to our fundraising team.
