Do you need a berth for a vessel involved in Sea Scouting or a youth or community-oriented maritime program?

Our Moorage facility:
The Spirit of Propeller owns and manages our facility at Water Way 18, commonly known as the "Sea Scout Moorings".
It consists of a 220-foot-long x 6-foot-wide floating dock.
The facility was previously owned by the local Scout Council, and ownership was transferred in 2020.
The upland property and lake environment is owned by the Department of Natural Resources.
With help from the maritime community, we completed the construction of the $500,000 Replacement Dock project in October 2025.

Sea and Shore Construction - for helping to demolish and dispose of our old floating dock
Waterfront Construction - very flexible on the scope of work and very accommodating to our needs and funding capacity.
Western Towboat Co: Donated tugboat services to help move the old dock and allow placement of the new dock

Replacement of the shoreside/upland potable water system.
We must replace about 150 feet of buried 3/4-inch potable water piping extending from the dock up to the street. Estimated Project Cost: $8,000
